Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Possess (or be eligible for) state licensure and required credentials for school-based SLP positions.
- Demonstrate experience with individualized education plans (IEPs), assessment, and evidence-based interventions.
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families.
- Familiarity with school procedures and documentation.
- Previous experience working within a school setting is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
- Write and maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEPs for each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups.
- Attend meetings and professional development as needed.
- Monitor and report progress to guide future interventions.
