Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Possess (or be eligible for) state licensure and required credentials for school-based SLP positions.
  • Demonstrate experience with individualized education plans (IEPs), assessment, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families.
  • Familiarity with school procedures and documentation.
  • Previous experience working within a school setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
  • Write and maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEPs for each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
  • Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups.
  • Attend meetings and professional development as needed.
  • Monitor and report progress to guide future interventions.
