Key Experience & Credentials:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or the ability to obtain it prior to start date
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
  • Previous experience within school settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with pediatric caseloads and the IEP process
  • Proficiency in both assessment and intervention strategies for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites within the district

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through grade 12
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster academic and social growth
  • Provide direct intervention as well as consultation and training for school personnel
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners across multiple sites
