Key Experience & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or the ability to obtain it prior to start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Previous experience within school settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with pediatric caseloads and the IEP process
- Proficiency in both assessment and intervention strategies for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites within the district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through grade 12
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster academic and social growth
- Provide direct intervention as well as consultation and training for school personnel
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners across multiple sites
