Speech Language Pathologist in Auburn, ME

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity this upcoming school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist working on-site with a small caseload of students from kindergarten through sixth grade. In this role, you'll be supporting students' communication development at a vibrant academic setting located near Auburn, ME, with services provided on-site in Lewiston. The position is set to begin August 24th, offering around 20 hours per week—with some flexibility based on caseload needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Valid state license (or eligibility) in Maine
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or comfort working in K-6 educational settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct, evidence-based interventions to students in need
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and report on student progress
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
