Step into an impactful contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Work full-time, guiding learners as they build vital communication skills in an enriching educational setting.
Qualifications and Ideal Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and related documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable providing both direct and consultative services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs across K-12 grade levels
- Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP meetings
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services, adapting methods to support diverse learners
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated student support
- Offer training or consultation to school staff on communication strategies and classroom implementation
