  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience providing services in a school environment, particularly with middle school students
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills across a variety of communication disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, families, and students
  • Comfort managing a dynamic caseload and adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs
  • Commitment to fostering communication development and supporting students’ academic and social success

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the special education team
  • Delivering direct and indirect therapeutic services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting goals or interventions as necessary
  • Consulting with teachers and families to provide strategies for the classroom and at home
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations
