Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) at the middle school level. This full-time assignment is designed to cover a maternity leave, starting in August and continuing through mid-November, providing vital continuity of services for students during the fall semester.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- State licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering positive and inclusive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions for middle school students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and prepare necessary documentation and progress reports
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support student learning goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support the transition and continuity of care before and after the leave period
