School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Auburn, Maine

Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) at the middle school level. This full-time assignment is designed to cover a maternity leave, starting in August and continuing through mid-November, providing vital continuity of services for students during the fall semester.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP-CCC certification
• State licensure (or eligibility)
• Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering positive and inclusive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions for middle school students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and prepare necessary documentation and progress reports
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support student learning goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support the transition and continuity of care before and after the leave period
