This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a meaningful impact in K-12 educational settings. Based in the greater East Syracuse area for the 2024-2025 school year, the caseload will encompass a diverse group of students across kindergarten through 12th grade. You’ll play a key role in enhancing communication skills and supporting academic success. Immediate interviews are being arranged for qualified SLPs eager to build their career in a collaborative school environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid New York State SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings with K-12 populations
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Your Impact:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor student-specific intervention plans
  • Serve students with diverse needs across general and special education environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise to help tailor education plans
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services, adapting methods as needed
  • Maintain thorough records in line with school policies and state requirements
  • Partner with teachers and families to foster student progress
