A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025–2026 school year (September to June) in a K-12 school setting located in Auburn, NY. This contract position primarily serves elementary students with some high school students included. The role offers a chance to support speech and language development within an inclusive educational environment.

Role Overview:
In this position, you will manage a caseload of approximately 28 students, conducting assessments, delivering therapy, and collaborating closely with educators and families to foster student growth and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal setting
  • Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant educational laws
