An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication growth in a vibrant K-12 school setting. Serving primarily elementary students with some high school involvement, this contract role spans the 2025–2026 academic year, from September through June. You’ll handle a manageable caseload of approximately 28 students, helping to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments, crafting individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to implement effective accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, actively contributing to goal-setting
  • Provide guidance and support to families, fostering a team-based approach to student success

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Hold a current state SLP license or be eligible to obtain one
  • Prior experience with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Familiarity with IEP procedures and relevant educational regulations

The position follows a regular school calendar, ensuring your hours and vacations align with the academic year. You’ll benefit from guaranteed work hours, and can expect competitive hourly pay ranging from $48 to $58 per hour.
