A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students, primarily at the elementary level, in a caring school environment near Auburn, NY. This contract role spans the 2025–2026 academic year, beginning in September and concluding in June. As an integral part of the educational team, you will provide specialized speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 28 students, including some high schoolers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans focused on student success
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations and modifications
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and inform goal-setting processes
  • Communicate effectively with families, offering guidance and support
  • Ensure compliance with educational laws and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Previous school-based experience and knowledge of IEP processes are desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
