A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to serve a diverse K–12 student population, with a primary focus on elementary learners and some high school involvement. This position spans the 2025–2026 academic year, running from September to June, and is designed for compassionate professionals seeking to make a difference in student development.
As the dedicated SLP for this setting, you will oversee a manageable caseload of approximately 28 students. You’ll play a vital role in assessing communication needs, providing evidence-based therapy, and partnering with educators and families to foster an inclusive, supportive school experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing thorough speech and language assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Delivering direct, needs-based therapy services
- Collaborating with teachers and staff on accommodations and modifications
- Monitoring progress and refining interventions as necessary
- Participating in IEP meetings, helping set and evaluate goals
- Offering practical guidance and resources to parents and caregivers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible state SLP licensure
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational regulations
