Desired Background:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid SLP state licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Prior school-based SLP or pediatric experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to a diverse student population
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough records of therapy, progress, and compliance documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as needed
  • Foster a positive learning atmosphere and empower students to achieve their fullest potential
  • Stay informed on best practices in school-based speech-language services
