Desired Background:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid SLP state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior school-based SLP or pediatric experience is an advantage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough records of therapy, progress, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as needed
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere and empower students to achieve their fullest potential
- Stay informed on best practices in school-based speech-language services
