Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Ability to provide comprehensive speech and language services within a school setting
  • Prior school-based experience preferred, but open to new graduates eager to learn and make a difference
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet students’ needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver therapy services individually or in group settings, tailored to each student’s IEP
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on student progress and goals, and maintain detailed documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive support
  • Remain current with best practices and local regulations in school-based speech-language pathology
