Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP practice
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs, addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and monitor progress
  • Develop and implement individualized and evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student achievement and foster communication goals
  • Maintain clear, timely records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Consult with educational teams regarding instructional strategies and classroom modifications to support student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for eligibility and service planning
