School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Auburn, Washington

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active SLP license or eligibility in Washington State
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings
• Strong background in speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized IEPs
• Passionate about making a difference in children’s educational journeys

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload of approximately 35 students
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Write and update IEPs, and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
• Provide support to classroom teachers and staff with recommendations and strategies
• Maintain accurate, thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to support carryover skills at home
