Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active SLP license or eligibility in Washington State
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings
- Strong background in speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized IEPs
- Passionate about making a difference in children’s educational journeys
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload of approximately 35 students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Write and update IEPs, and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Provide support to classroom teachers and staff with recommendations and strategies
- Maintain accurate, thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to support carryover skills at home
