Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Auburn, WA

Step into a contract position supporting approximately 40–50 students at a vibrant elementary resource room. Key qualifiers for this role:

• Valid Washington Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Fingerprinted through OSPI, or willing to complete requirements
• School-based SLP experience highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to serve students on-site or via teletherapy (VOCO), as needed

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging direct therapy for students in a resource room setting
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear progress updates
• Maintain accurate records, session notes, and mandated documentation
• Adapt interventions to suit the dynamic needs of each learner
