Support student growth in a dynamic educational setting as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 26, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You'll play a vital role by providing high-quality speech and language services to students, collaborating with staff and families, and ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech/language evaluations and assessments in accordance with state and district protocols
  • Developing and delivering individualized treatment plans to meet student needs
  • Leading or participating in IEP meetings and contributing expert input to student support teams
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records and documentation
  • Working closely with teachers, specialists, and parents to foster student achievement
  • Staying current with best practices and compliance requirements within a school-based setting

To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • An active Georgia SLP license and GaPSC Educator Certification (submission of verification required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in performing thorough evaluations and crafting effective intervention plans
  • Comfort with both onsite services; teletherapy experience is a plus if available
  • Commitment to collaborative teamwork and serving a diverse student population
