A rewarding opportunity awaits a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) seeking a contract position supporting students in a school environment. You’ll play a crucial role in nurturing communication skills for middle and elementary students, with assignments scheduled two days a week—Wednesdays and Fridays—totaling approximately 15 hours weekly. The assignment is expected to begin on August 11, 2026, and conclude on May 19, 2027. While final caseload and locations are still being finalized, anticipate working with a collaborative education team focused on student growth and success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working within school settings, especially with middle or elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches based on individual student needs
- Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively with other educational professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with staff and families
- Maintain clear, timely documentation for progress, interventions, and compliance
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in team meetings and provide expertise in speech and language development
- Adjust approaches as needed for individual or small-group therapy
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education as required by licensure
