Speech Therapist in Aurora, CO

This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language services within a supportive educational environment focused on students with intellectual disabilities. Located in Aurora, CO, this contract role involves working five days a week with students in kindergarten through fifth grade in a center-based program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services in accordance with each student’s IEP.
• Collaborate with educational and support staff to implement effective communication strategies.
• Manage a caseload that will be discussed during the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a special education setting.
• Familiarity with supporting students who use communication devices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
