School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aurora, Colorado

Make an impact supporting K-5 students in a center-based program as a contract speech-language pathologist. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students who have intellectual disabilities, some of whom use communication devices, and help them reach their communication goals in a collaborative environment. You'll work on-site five days per week with a dynamic team of educators and professionals committed to student success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Familiarity with working with students with intellectual disabilities and augmentative or alternative communication (AAC) devices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt services to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-5 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with the education team and families
• Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services in accordance with IEPs
• Track student progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
• Caseload will be determined during the interview process based on your skills and interests
