School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, CO

This contract opportunity focuses on serving children with intellectual disabilities in a center-based program, some of whom utilize communicative devices. You’ll collaborate in a dedicated environment with a multidisciplinary team, making a real difference every day.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid licensure and ASHA CCCs or eligibility
• Previous experience working in school settings (prior work with students who have intellectual disabilities preferred)
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an IEP team environment
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and fostering inclusive learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete evaluations and assessments as required
• Attend and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services in line with students’ IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
• Keep thorough records of progress, services, and required documentation
• Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, families, and other related service providers
• Adjust strategies and interventions as needed for student growth and success
