A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Aurora, CO, to serve an elementary school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position (35+ hours per week) will support students from diverse backgrounds in the Denver area, with a start date anticipated for March 19, 2026, through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress in speech and communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state regulations
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates; not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with educational teams
