Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Aurora, CO

The position is itinerant, involving travel to multiple campuses, making every day unique and engaging.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license prior to starting
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required
• Comfortable working onsite at district locations (no remote options)
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Open to mentoring Clinical Fellows (CFs)

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct therapy services to students across multiple sites within the district
• Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure students’ needs are met
• Complete accurate documentation and progress reports, maintaining compliance with district and state requirements
• Advocate for students’ speech and language needs to maximize their educational outcomes
• Stay current with best practices in bilingual service delivery
