The position is itinerant, involving travel to multiple campuses, making every day unique and engaging.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license prior to starting
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required
- Comfortable working onsite at district locations (no remote options)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Open to mentoring Clinical Fellows (CFs)
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across multiple sites within the district
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure students’ needs are met
- Complete accurate documentation and progress reports, maintaining compliance with district and state requirements
- Advocate for students’ speech and language needs to maximize their educational outcomes
- Stay current with best practices in bilingual service delivery
