Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Aurora, CO. This year-long assignment begins July 27, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, with an initial leave of absence coverage from July through August. You'll provide essential speech-language therapy in both an intensive preschool classroom and a K-8 setting, collaborating with dedicated educators and making a real impact on young learners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP licensure and current CO Department of Education certification required
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow applicants encouraged to apply
  • Background working in school-based settings, especially with IEPs
  • Experience in assessments, service delivery, and progress monitoring
  • Willingness to supervise SLPAs as needed
  • Preference for candidates with ELL training and/or an ESL or Linguistically Diverse Education (LDE) Endorsement

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in an intensive preschool classroom and a K-8 school
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the IEP process
  • Track and document progress toward measurable student objectives
  • Assist in supervision and support of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to best serve diverse student needs

This assignment is based entirely on-site for the duration of the contract.
