Shape young learners' communication skills in a dynamic, supportive elementary school setting. This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on providing speech and language services to students in grades K-4, all within one school site. With a manageable caseload of 33 students, you'll have the chance to make impactful, individualized interventions while collaborating closely with teachers and support staff.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Active State of Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or ability to interview with a pending application
  • Experience in school-based settings, pediatric populations, or teletherapy
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, to better serve students and families
  • Proficient with assessment, individualized education plans, and therapy documentation
  • Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
  • Only SLPs will be considered—SLPA applicants will not be reviewed

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students (K-4)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and families to support student progress
  • Keep accurate records, progress notes, and IEP documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development
  • Provide services on-site, with consideration for a hybrid model for outstanding candidates able to coordinate a flexible schedule
