Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Aurora, CO

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Colorado state SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfort with conducting assessments, writing IEP goals, and delivering therapy to diverse student groups
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
• Complete comprehensive speech/language evaluations and participate in eligibility meetings
• Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking per district and state guidelines
• Offer consultation and training to staff regarding speech and language strategies
