This part-time contract position focuses on serving students at a single school, supporting a mild-to-moderate caseload of learners. You’ll work two full days per week, dedicating your expertise to helping students achieve their communication goals in a collaborative and supportive environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of May 2027, offering long-term continuity for both you and the students you impact.
Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
• Current Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist, ages birth–21)
• School-based SLP experience preferred
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to complete detailed background check and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with mild-to-moderate speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district requirements
• Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding speech and language development
• Support students across varying grade levels within the assigned school
