Make a positive impact working as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist within the Denver area! This full-time, onsite contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through May 26, 2027. You'll work closely with students in a supportive educational environment, providing individualized and group services—caseloads and campuses are to be determined, but will likely focus on mild to moderate needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certification
- Valid Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21)
- Experience in school settings or with K-12 populations preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Willingness to complete a district-specific background check as part of credentialing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to students, addressing a range of communication and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct evaluations and document progress toward therapeutic objectives
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff to enhance students’ learning accessibility
- Contribute to IEP meetings and prepare required documentation in a timely manner
You’ll work a consistent full-time schedule of 35 hours per week onsite, engaging with school-aged learners and expanding your impact across the Denver community.
