Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Colorado Special Education (SPED) Certificate required
• Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager, preferably in a school environment
• Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology (SLP) services is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for diverse abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an individualized caseload (final details provided closer to assignment start)
• Collaborate with other educators and stakeholders to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction, support, and individualized intervention tailored to students’ needs
• Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and school procedures
