School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Colorado

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Colorado SLP license and current CDE certification
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience or strong interest in school-based practice
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills

Role features and responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions for elementary and middle school students
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and family members
• Support students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
• Conduct screenings and progress monitoring to guide targeted support
• Maintain accurate records and timely reporting of student progress
• Engage in professional development for best practices in school-based SLP services
