Licensed Certified School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Colorado

You'll play an essential role in helping students build confidence and communication skills, fostering their growth inside and outside the classroom.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active and valid SLP license (state certification required)
• Experience working with school-aged children (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for helping students achieve their individual speech and language goals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services across multiple school settings
• Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Deliver parent and teacher training as needed for carryover strategies
• Adapt services to fit the unique needs of each educational environment
