This full-time contract position, available through the end of the school year, is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience or strong interest in working with a diverse caseload. Based near Aurora, CO, you’ll serve primarily elementary and high school students with needs ranging from mild to severe.
You’ll be part of a collaborative school environment focused on helping students succeed academically and socially. While onsite candidates are preferred due to the hands-on nature of the position, virtual service providers may be considered. Unfortunately, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible at this time.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification required
- Current licensure as an SLP
- Experience with school-aged children (elementary and high school focus)
- Capable of supporting mild to severe student needs
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel as needed for the assignment
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary and high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff
- Keep accurate documentation of student progress and IEP requirements
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Adapt intervention strategies to suit a variety of student needs
