Looking for a rewarding opportunity to use your expertise supporting school-aged children in their communication development? This full-time contract position, available through the end of the school year, is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience or strong interest in working with a diverse caseload. Based near Aurora, CO, you’ll serve primarily elementary and high school students with needs ranging from mild to severe.

You’ll be part of a collaborative school environment focused on helping students succeed academically and socially. While onsite candidates are preferred due to the hands-on nature of the position, virtual service providers may be considered. Unfortunately, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible at this time.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification required
  • Current licensure as an SLP
  • Experience with school-aged children (elementary and high school focus)
  • Capable of supporting mild to severe student needs
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Willingness to travel as needed for the assignment
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary and high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff
  • Keep accurate documentation of student progress and IEP requirements
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services
  • Adapt intervention strategies to suit a variety of student needs
