Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Must hold valid Colorado credentials as a Special Education teacher
• Demonstrated proficiency in standard duties of a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Strong knowledge and experience with IEPs and implementation
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to student success
• Excellent communication skills and a growth-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

• Manage caseloads in self-contained and resource settings, tailoring support to each student’s unique needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain clear documentation, contribute to IEP meetings, and ensure compliance with state guidelines
