Step into a rewarding part-time contract role supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging early childhood program! You'll work 2.5 days (18 hours) each week throughout the full school year, making a valuable impact in a nurturing environment. This opportunity allows you to work closely with young children, helping them build essential communication skills during their critical years of development.

Additionally, there are two full-time maternity leave opportunities in elementary settings: one extending from August to October, and another from August to December. These temporary assignments allow for a more immersive experience with elementary-age students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC certification required
  • Experience working in a school or early childhood setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to students in early childhood programs
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP/eligibility meetings as needed
  • Optionally fill full-time maternity leaves in elementary programs for more hands-on experience
