Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date)
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with K-8 students
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and students
  • Organizational abilities to manage caseloads and documentation effectively
  • Passion for fostering inclusivity and empowering students to reach their potential

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Delivering speech-language therapy services to K-8 students across diverse abilities
  • Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ academic and social communication needs
  • Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Providing training or consultation to staff as needed on communication strategies
