A Speech Pathologist position is available at an elementary school in Aurora, Illinois, offering a contract opportunity starting ASAP through May 22, 2026. This role involves providing specialized speech-language services within a diverse educational setting, supporting students across several programs including Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to a caseload of approximately 1.5 full-time equivalents.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of services and student outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary support of students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials appropriate for school settings.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational environments.
  • Ability to manage a mixed caseload including Supported Education and Multi-needs students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM.
  • Total hours guaranteed: 37.5 per week.
  • Located in Aurora, Illinois.

This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a varied student population while contributing to their academic and social development. Part-time openings are also available until March 27, 2025, with the full-time role continuing through May 2026.
