Step into an exciting role supporting K-8 students in a dynamic school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs. Desired Qualifications:

  • Current SLP - CCC credentials (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students in elementary and middle school (grades K-8)
  • Ability to serve a varied caseload with cross-categorical student needs, including language, articulation, social communication, and more
  • Compassionate communicator and skilled collaborator, able to partner with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills for case management and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-8 students as outlined in IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Participate actively in the IEP process, including assessment writing, team meetings, and goal development
  • Maintain timely, thorough documentation and progress reporting
  • Serve as a valuable resource for staff and families regarding effective communication strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to support student success throughout the school year
