Required Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP license
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations valued
- Interest in working with diverse student needs across age groups
- CFYs welcome—mentorship and support available
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a valued asset, but not required
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Communicate progress, strategies, and recommendations with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit individual student goals and milestones
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all direct and indirect services
