Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active and valid state SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; considered CFs with strong skills
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly favored
  • Strong knowledge of current therapy techniques and IEP documentation
  • Effective communicator who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP goals and service plans
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support each student’s success
  • Maintain accurate treatment records in compliance with school district and state standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and intervention planning
