This contract position, running from August 17th through May 28th, offers you the opportunity to work closely with a caseload of approximately 55 students, exclusively in resource and general education settings. As a valued contributor, your expertise in supporting communication and language skills will play a vital role in student growth and success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings
- Familiarity with resource/general education caseloads preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite throughout the full duration of the assignment
- Clinical Fellow or SLPA supervision not required this school year
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse elementary caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and document therapy sessions in accordance with district standards
- Participate in team meetings, eligibility conferences, and parent conferences as needed
- Support a positive, inclusive environment for students of varying abilities
