This contract position, running from August 17th through May 28th, offers you the opportunity to work closely with a caseload of approximately 55 students, exclusively in resource and general education settings. As a valued contributor, your expertise in supporting communication and language skills will play a vital role in student growth and success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings
  • Familiarity with resource/general education caseloads preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite throughout the full duration of the assignment
  • Clinical Fellow or SLPA supervision not required this school year

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse elementary caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress and document therapy sessions in accordance with district standards
  • Participate in team meetings, eligibility conferences, and parent conferences as needed
  • Support a positive, inclusive environment for students of varying abilities
