This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Bilingual (Spanish/English) SLP-CCC eager to contribute to a diverse caseload and empower students in their communication development. The assignment runs from August 17th through May 28th, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- State licensure (or eligibility) as required
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Prior experience working with early childhood populations in a school or related pediatric setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative, multicultural educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct intervention for communicative disorders among early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in both Spanish and English, tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer guidance and support for language enrichment within the classroom setting
