Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Previous experience with school-aged or elementary students preferred
  • Understanding of IEP process and familiarity with school-based documentation
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in delivering both direct and consultative services

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and documentation
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, data, and progress notes according to school guidelines
  • Provide guidance, support, and consultation to classroom staff as needed
