Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Clinical Competence Certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Experience or comfort working with students from kindergarten through high school
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders in students grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Maintain accurate progress reports and documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote students’ academic success
- Provide consultative support to classroom staff for integrating communication strategies
