Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for the state
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K–12) preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs across grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student’s goals
  • Provide direct intervention and support in one-on-one or group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to share strategies and progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including progress reports and compliance with IEP guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to effective student outcomes
  • Educate school staff and families on communication strategies to use in the classroom and at home
