Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license and PEL (Professional Educator License)
- ASHA CCC required
- Experience with high school-aged students preferred
- School-based SLP experience is an advantage
- Ability to work full-time or part-time hours up to 37.5/week
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for high school students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ speech and language needs
- Maintain caseload for up to 60 students (estimate starting at 30)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and adjust interventions as needed
