Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across grade levels
- Complete evaluations, write IEP goals, and maintain timely documentation in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and special education teams to support individualized student needs
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school activities as appropriate
- Assist with program planning and provide recommendations for improving communication and learning outcomes
