Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Arkansas
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to administer and interpret assessments for speech, language, and communication
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and paperwork
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ needs in speech, language, voice, and fluency
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate session notes, progress records, and required documentation
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
- Offer support, strategies, and resources to educators and families to help students succeed academically and socially
