This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the opportunity to support K-12 students in a school setting in Austin, TX. Working under the guidance of an experienced Director and Lead SLP, you will have access to leadership and mentorship as you manage your own caseload and make a meaningful impact on student communication development.

Ideal candidates hold certifications such as CCC-SLP, are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or are qualified as School-Based SLP Assistants (SLPA). Experience with school caseloads serving a diverse K-12 student population is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in scheduled sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate, or School-Based SLPA licensure
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and balance administrative responsibilities efficiently
