Key Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility—open to SLPs holding either CCC or CFY credentials
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
- Relevant school-based SLP experience, or strong clinical background for CFYs
- Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Compassionate, adaptable, and eager to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Duties Include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs (caseload: 40-45)
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans and IEP goals
- Conducting screenings and contributing to evaluation teams
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
