Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFYs are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in a school environment or working with children is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop customized treatment plans and document progress effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other providers to ensure holistic support for each child
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Engage in regular professional development and remain current on best practices in speech-language pathology
