Grades 6 - 8 Grades 9 - 12 Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Austin, TX

Empower students across elementary, middle, and high school levels by supporting their communication growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming educational environment. This contract-based opportunity focuses on providing impactful speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Experience working with school-aged children in grades K–12
• Familiarity with assessment tools and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K–12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
• Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, across multiple grade levels
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
