Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation and direct therapy services for students in grades K-10. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 30-35 students with a range of communication needs, including articulation, fluency, autism spectrum disorders, and AAC support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in grades K-10.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Support students with articulation and fluency disorders.
- Provide services for students utilizing AAC devices as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Participate in meetings and consultations regarding student services and progress.
Qualifications Required
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience conducting evaluations and providing direct therapy services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- School-based experience.
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders.
- Familiarity with AAC devices and assistive communication supports.
