Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA
  • Florida state licensure (or eligibility pending application)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Skilled with diverse K-12 student populations
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services per IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student on your caseload
