Speech Language Pathologist in Avon Park, FL

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
• Ability to work onsite and adapt to the needs of K-12 students
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date records and provide progress reports in a timely manner
• Attend IEP meetings and actively participate in the student support process
• Offer consultative services and training to faculty and families as needed
