Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Accomplished in designing, implementing, and evaluating speech and language therapy plans for K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work alongside teachers, administrators, and family members
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students across various age groups and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough screenings and evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment strategies aligned to each student’s IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress, evaluations, and meetings
- Consult with faculty and families to offer training, resources, and progress updates
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student achievement
- Create a positive, encouraging environment that supports students’ communication growth
