School Speech Language Pathologist - Avondale, Arizona

A rewarding, full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year covering a maternity leave. This contract role begins August 3, 2026, and extends through October 9, 2026. You'll play a key role supporting students and collaborating with dedicated educators within an engaging school environment near Avondale, AZ. This assignment offers guaranteed hours and compensation for both direct and indirect services performed. With a focus on your core SLP contributions, there are no additional school duties outside your contracted hours, so you can devote your energy to your students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or CFY candidates considered
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage documentation for IEPs and student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse student caseload
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Consult and collaborate with educators and parents
• Deliver both individual and group interventions
• Offer progress monitoring and participate in team meetings as required
