School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – Communication Development Specialist (2026/2027 School Year)

A school district in the Azusa, CA area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who enjoys supporting students in developing strong communication skills while working within a collaborative and student-focused educational environment. Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students for speech, language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic communication needs

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals

  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress

  • Monitor and document student progress in compliance with district and state requirements

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and service decisions

Experience:

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills valued

  • CFY candidates and new graduates encouraged to apply

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • Active California Speech Language Pathologist License required

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (school schedule)
