School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – Communication Development Specialist (2026/2027 School Year)
A school district in the Azusa, CA area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who enjoys supporting students in developing strong communication skills while working within a collaborative and student-focused educational environment. Responsibilities:
Evaluate students for speech, language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic communication needs
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress
Monitor and document student progress in compliance with district and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and service decisions
Experience:
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Strong collaboration and communication skills valued
CFY candidates and new graduates encouraged to apply
Education:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active California Speech Language Pathologist License required

Compensation for this position ranges from $47.53 to $67.53. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
