Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • NC SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience with elementary student populations highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in a supportive school setting
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and parents to ensure student progress
  • Document student performance and maintain compliant records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success strategies
  • Provide both direct and indirect speech services, fully supported through guaranteed contracted hours
  • No bus duty, lunch monitoring, or non-therapy district tasks required
